Black Widow is an American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Black Widow. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. The film is directed by Cate Shortland, written by Jac Schaeffer and Ned Benson. It was set after the events of Captain America: Civil War (2016) and prior to Avengers: Infinity War (2018).
