1. Introduction
Welcome to Quopedia. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Quopedia website and services operated by Mindworks Labs ("we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using Quopedia, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.
2. Definitions
"Service" refers to the Quopedia website, including all features, content, and functionality.
"User Submission" refers to any content you submit to the Service, including quote suggestions, edit suggestions, and any associated text or information.
"AgenticPV" (Agentic Provenance Verification) refers to our artificial intelligence system used to discover, verify, and enrich quotations with attribution, source information, and contextual metadata.
"Generated Content" refers to any quotes, metadata, or other content produced by the AgenticPV in response to User Submissions.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to use the Service, and they must agree to these Terms on your behalf.
By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements. If you do not meet these requirements, you must not access or use the Service.
4. User Accounts
To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain inaccurate or misleading information.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access to or use of your account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
5. User Submissions and Intellectual Property
5.1 Assignment of Rights. By submitting any User Submission to the Service, you irrevocably assign to us all rights, title, and interest in and to such User Submission, including all intellectual property rights therein. This assignment includes, without limitation, the right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display your User Submission in any form or medium, whether now known or hereafter developed.
5.2 Generated Content. All Generated Content produced by the AgenticPV in response to User Submissions is the exclusive property of Mindworks Labs. You acknowledge and agree that you have no rights, title, or interest in any Generated Content.
5.3 Third-Party Quote Copyright. Quopedia is a platform for discovering and exploring quotations. The copyright in the underlying quotes displayed on the Service remains with the original authors, their estates, or other rights holders as applicable. Our Service provides attribution, provenance information, and contextual data about quotes, but we do not claim ownership of the quotes themselves.
5.4 Waiver of Moral Rights. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive any moral rights you may have in your User Submissions, including the right to be identified as the author and the right to object to derogatory treatment of the work.
5.5 No Compensation. You acknowledge that you will not receive any compensation, credit, or attribution for your User Submissions or any Generated Content derived therefrom.
5.6 Use for AgenticPV Training and Improvement. You acknowledge and agree that we may use your User Submissions to train, improve, and develop the AgenticPV. This includes using your submissions to enhance quote discovery, provenance verification, and other features of the Service.
5.7 Non-Exclusivity of Output. Due to the nature of artificial intelligence, Generated Content may not be unique. Different users may receive similar or identical output from the Service. Any rights you may have to view or use Generated Content displayed on the Service do not extend to exclusive ownership, and do not affect the rights of other users or third parties.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
Submit false, misleading, or fabricated quotes
Attempt to manipulate or deceive the AgenticPV through prompt engineering, injection attacks, or jailbreaking techniques
Submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Use automated means to access the Service without our express permission
Impersonate any person or entity
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code or underlying algorithms of the Service
We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. AgenticPV Disclaimer
Quopedia uses the AgenticPV to discover, verify, and enrich quotations. While we strive for accuracy, content generated by Provenance may contain errors or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided by the AgenticPV.
Users should independently verify any information obtained through the Service before relying upon it for any purpose.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components.
9. Service Availability and Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Mindworks Labs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.
